Recently, a large-scale fully automatic fortified rice production line, overall planned, designed, and manufactured by Shandong ARROW Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Shandong ARROW”), was successfully put into operation in a customer’s high-standard modern production workshop in Southeast Asia.
This project serves as another landmark turnkey flagship project for Shandong ARROW overseas. Fortified rice (also known as reconstituted rice, fortified kernels, or artificial rice) utilizes rice flour, coarse grain flour, and other materials as primary ingredients. Re-granulated and shaped through an extrusion-expansion process, it enables nutritional fortification and multi-grain blending. Southeast Asia is a crucial global rice consumption market, where growing demand for staple food nutrition and product diversification provides vast market opportunities for fortified rice products.
In this project, Shandong ARROW provided end-to-end support ranging from process design and equipment manufacturing to installation and commissioning. The entire line is equipped with a complete set of production machinery, including an automatic batching system, conveying equipment, twin-screw extruders, and cooling and drying equipment. All processing stages operate in seamless coordination via an integrated control system.
